The Technology
A touch application built as a real editorial publication. Pages laid out with typographic care, high-resolution assets, video embedded in the reading flow, macro details that open on tap, interactive indices that let you move across collections, chapters, and archives.
Don't call it a slideshow, and don't call it an interactive PDF — it's a book designed for the screen, with the pacing, editing and design of an authored publication, plus the extra depth only digital lets you reach.
The Case: C&C Milano @ Milan Design Week 2026
Inside The Tactile Atelier we built a virtual book dedicated to C&C Milano: atelier history, fabric collections, manufacturing processes, macro details of yarns. Visitors leafed through the pages next to the NFC table and the LED wall, completing the phygital experience with a level of editorial depth a sample book cannot offer.
Who it's for
Luxury, design, and fashion brands that have a history, an archive, a know-how worth telling at the quality it deserves. Permanent showrooms where sales consulting leans on a curated editorial companion. Trade shows and events where visitors want depth but time is short. Corporate museums looking for a contemporary format of narrated archive. Collection launches that want to debut in a format halfway between catalogue and authored book.
What we ship
The book is a recurring format, configured per project. We provide:
- a touch editorial framework (navigation, pages, typography, transitions)
- content management decoupled from code — the brand team updates text, images, and video without dev intervention
- native multilanguage support
- integration with video, 3D models, audio, macro galleries
- export for standalone kiosks, tablets, totems, or dedicated stations
Typographic design and asset selection are part of every new project: each book is crafted as a unique publication, not as a recoloured template.
Why it works
Screens are everywhere, yet rarely treated as editorial objects. A well-designed virtual book shifts attention from interface to content: the visitor is not using an app, they are reading. The pace is reading pace, not scroll pace. And the content stays the brand's property — updatable, reusable across contexts (trade show, showroom, private event, website).
